YMCA Camp Wapsie hosted its annual Community Easter Egg Hunt April 4. It is a mad dash as kids rush quickly across the camp, picking up as many eggs as they can before they are all gone.

After check-in, long lines of families wait to see Camp Wapsie’s Murphy the Moose and the Easter Bunny before the hunt starts.

Several families came prepared with buckets and bags to help pick up eggs.

All kids who participated in the Camp Wapsie Easter Egg Hunt were able to pick out two prizes to take home, which were donated by local businesses and families.

Volunteers with the Coggon Fire Department came to Camp Wapsie to help during the annual Easter Egg Hunt, supporting staff with parking control and assisting families with finding Easter eggs.
