Local Fourth of July festivities 

 

Central City

• AMVETS Parade, Friday, July 4th at 10 a.m., downtown Central City.

• Central City Historical Society Museums are open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

• Food vendors 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

• Live music performed by Ruthless Country from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• CC GO Homebrew Festival at Bit Brewery from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Fireworks show on Friday, July 4, at the Linn County Fairgrounds, beginning at dusk.

 

Troy Mills 

• Parade, Friday, July 4th at 11 a.m.; lineup starting on South of Troy Mills at 10 a.m.

• Additional events include breakfast burritos available from 7 to 10 at the TM Fire Department, along with raffles, live music, and food beginning at 10:30 a.m.

• No fireworks this year due to rising costs. 

 

Prairieburg

• Due to the weather on June 21, the annual fireworks show has been postponed to Saturday, July 5, at dusk at Baker Park.
